Here is the full, unabridged version from "Charles DeForest Songbook, Vol One," with Mike Effenberger playing piano and Vaughn DeForest singing. This arrangement interpolates portions of Frank Loesser's masterpiece, "Spring Will Be a Little Late, This Year."
George published (and recorded) several of Charles' songs, but "What's Happened to Spring?" was, arguably, his favorite. Here, Charles performs an abridged version of this at "Danny's Grand Sea Palace" on St. Patrick's Day, 1996.
